PLUNA arranges with Petrobras the purveyance of fuel

PLUNA, Uruguayans national Airline Company, had great depts with ANCAP, Uruguayans National Fuel provider. The depts were about USD 12 million and ANCAP claimed for a payment of at least 75% of the amount to continue providing the airline with fuel. Last week PLUNA made a partial payment of USD 1 million and during this week the negotiations were unsuccessful. Therefore ANCAP decided to cut off the fuel purveyance to PLUNA since last midnight.

PLUNA reached an agreement with Petrobras for the purveyance of fuel, which will allow the airline to continue flying, mantaining all their services. The arrangement with Petrobras was achieved late during the night yesterday.
